Waiting for Spring

Eventhough January has been somewhat kind to us weather wise, it seems spring can't come soon enough.  I will spend some time in the garden centre looking to feed my soul on their imported blooms and may even find some primulas to brighten things up.  My little sweet cat KC(for kinda cut) quite loves this time of year as "cat tv",(looking out our front window)  doesn't have much excitement to offer, so sleeping is always the option.
Spent an interesting day out at Longview yesterday,  participating in a great initiative called ACE,(Active, Creative,Engaged Communities) .  The speaker who ignited the event, was Ian  Hill,  an astounding , gifted man blessed with communicating  truth in a very real way.  So glad I was invited to attend,  looking forward to great results, individually and community wise!

Hi:  My name is Pam and I am the shop owner of the Wow and Then Shop located in the small Village of Longview, Alberta, Canada.  I would love to give you a brief tour of

what you can expect when you arrive.

First off, I love to chat and find out where you are coming and going to, just in case you may not have the

local area info. and highlights.  Secondly,  you will be offered a sample taste of our Hot Apple Cider, found only at our shop, and thirdly you will be delighted to brouse my shop filled

with many wonderful treasures.

This weekend I will be bringing in a wonderful updated vintage dining table, that has been given a coat of black paint,

to fit in the most modern of decors.

I will be there from Fri - Sun 12ish - 5ish,

Jan 04,2010   If you are looking for a great  updated vintage table, I will have one in the shop for this weekend.  It has a removable top and has been painted with a great wipeable black paint.  The perfect fit for those who love to use vintage pieces with their modern decor.  To view it you can reach me at the shop Fri - Sun 12  - 5.  We are located in the village of Longview, a beautiful 45 min drive south and west of Calgary,
18 k  south of Black Diamond on Hwy 22, the Cowboy Trail. 

Here it is 2010, and here in Southern Alberta, it is picture card beautiful, with snow and frost covered images, making one wish they could take a picture at every turn in the road. Especially on the way from Calgary to Longview. The beauty is awe inspiring helping make winter seem a little more than just bearable.

The Wow and Then Shop will be open Friday - Sunday, 12ish - 5sih, from January through to end of April. Then we add on Thursday.

The weather is always a variable to our hours,

so it always good to call ahead and check to see

if I made it out there.

Many items including furniture will be sale priced, and

we always have new items coming in.
