WAY TO GO CANADA!!!

Who knew that Canada would not only be a great host of the Olympics, but also take so many of the Gold Medals Home?  It has been an exciting and rewarding World Event and we are very proud of our country and athletes, they all deserve an award for their diligence and hard work to reach this level..   now we can get back to normal.  I think we have all felt tense and  anxious just watching.  WAY TO GO CANADA!!!!!

SPRING IS IN THE AIR - AND IN OUR SIGHTS!

Bringing  a little bit o spring into the shop! 

Here in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains, spring can seem a long way off, so ... we have to bring it inside!  I have some spring flowers in the shop along with a a great fountain idea I adapted from another idea I saw.  A great way to showcase the spoils of treasure hunting and to recreate and enjoy the sounds of spring!

What Does Love Look Like?

Love comes in all shapes and sizes and is one of the strongest emotions.  To me the greatest picture of love I have witnessed in my shop was the marriage of a beautiful 85+ to a 90+ both hard of hearing and had some difficulty moving around, but demonstrated that love that the Bible talks about, patient, kind, longsuffering thinking of the other first. It was a second relationship with their first spouses passing away, they knew each other from childhood and found they needed companionship and so they married.  They resided in a seniors residence and decided one day to up and get in the car and go on an adventure, some 500 km or 300 miles away, to the mountains, no less.  Bless their hearts!  I hope I have that
kind of tenacity when I get to that age!
