Summer in Calgary

July is here and we have already enjoyed a beautiful Canada Day long weekend and we now are into a week of stampeding at The Calgary Stampede.  This year the Stampede is celebrating its 100th year anniversary of rodeos and carnivals and of course Pancake Breakfasts.  There has been a website set up this year to track where and when the nearest free pancake can be had.  One can be fed up, literally of pancakes, sausages and coffee throughout the week.  As our summers are short, they are beautiful and packed with places to see and  things to do.   We welcome our visitors and here at the shop we have many drop in for a visit and a browse.  It seems to me that this year has topped the number for tourists.  Hope you enjoy your stay and make many wonderful memories whether you are from afar or close by.  I am always happy to have a chat and share the beauty of the area!!
